Among the most fascinating things I saw during a visit to Toronto, and Casa Loma, the fantasy castle built by Sir Henry Pellatt. Construction of the castle began in 1911 and continued until the day that Sir Henry had to declare bankruptcy. In fact, the reason is, every time you visit the castle, you will notice that the pool in the basement was unfinished, as he was short of funds. Many people have views that place, as some think it was excessive exuberance on the part of Sir Henry to build this imaginary country, while others believe it is still as beautiful architecture and must be appreciated.
I visited the castle for the first time several years ago, and is truly an amazing place, especially if you appreciate architecture as me. This alone gives an idea of the value of this castle, and Sir Henry that the cost of construction of the new century. One thing that is important to note about Casa Loma, the fact that several scenes from the movie were filmed here, including the suit Jackie Chan and Cocktail with Tom Cruise.
